The Bold and the Beautiful’s Quinn and Carter

Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) came out of nowhere. She’d been totally devoted to her husband, Eric (John McCook), for years. He was quietly nursing a broken heart, after finding out his fiancée, Zoe (Kiara Barnes), was hung up on another man. Then Quinn’s good deed, trying to get Carter to forgive and reconcile with his sorry ex, put them in the same orbit, and kaboom!

Lonely and longing for physical affection, Quinn and Carter bonded as they commiserated over the state of their love lives. The next minute, they were staring into each other’s eyes and racing for the bedroom. Although they swore it would just be a one-night stand, they haven’t been able to forget their passionate romp and it’s turned into an affair. The fiery new twosome Sofer and Saint-Victor have been generating has made them the show’s hottest couple.

Jason and Britt, General Hospital

After Sam (Kelly Monaco) gave Jason the heave-ho, he went into all-business mode. Lucky for him, his mission to bring down mobster and GH Chairman of the Board, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), instigated a new relationship with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). Tough, sassy, and sarcastic, the sexy doc was chomping at the bit to be Jason’s ears and eyes around the hospital and help bring down the drug lord.

Working together, Jason and Britt have developed a mutual admiration for one another and forged a unique friendship, while taking turns saving each other’s lives. Being on the run from the cops since Jason’s hospital breakout has given them plenty of one-on-one time to connect. So far, the dynamic between them has been both fiery and fun. Britt fits the bill as Jason’s type – a strong-willed resilient chick, and he’s the kind of bad boy she’s meant to be paired with. It’s the soap’s most intriguing new match with potential that’s off the charts.

Jake and Gabi, Days of our Lives

There’s no denying the connection between Camila Banus and Brandon Barash, who first hooked up as Gabi and the late Stefan. So after introducing Stefan’s twin, Jake, and tossing him in the sack with Gabi a few months back, the soap’s going all-in on the no-brainer pairing and giving them another shot.

The thing about Banus and Barash is there’s sexual tension between them every time they step foot into the same scene. They can be miles apart, yet, as a viewer, you can see their characters ogling each other. And it only ups the anticipation of them ripping their clothes off and jumping into each other’s arms. Jake and Gabi are combative and combustible, and their chemistry is off the charts.

Summer and Kyle, The Young and the Restless

After several ill-fated castings, YR not only found the perfect Kyle in Michael Mealor but also the ideal actor to create fireworks with Hunter King’s Summer. Theirs is a relationship built on stops and starts and lots of turmoil. Yet, together they’ve weathered the storms and come out on top – the soap’s most perfectly imperfect duo.

What adds to their appeal — aside from being young, rich, and pretty, is the fact that they’ve known each other their whole lives. And being from two rival families gives them that Romeo and Juliet appeal. Plus, their love scenes are an intriguing mix of storybook tenderness and red-hot passion.
