Though she hasn’t appeared on a daytime soap opera since her 2016 role on The Young and the Restless, performer Alicia Coppola remains just as beloved — and busy — as she ever was. And today, this talented lady is celebrating a major milestone.

That’s because she was born on April 12, 1968, in Huntington, New York, which means that this talented actress is turning 56 years old today! After a brief non-speaking part on sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, Coppola’s career was launched with a guest role on the legal dramedy Against the Law.
She won acclaim, and a legion of fans, for her performance as Another World‘s Lorna Devon, a career criminal, and vixen, who was soon revealed to be Felicia Gallant’s (Linda Dano) long-missing daughter.
After appearing on the NBC soap from 1991 to 1994, Coppola exited and spent the remainder of the 1990s guest starring on a number of primetime television programs, chief among them NYPD Blue, Touched By an Angel, Chicago Hope, and New York Undercover.

Between 1998 and 1999, the actress recurred on the family drama Trinity, and afterward, she starred in both Cold Feet, the American remake of the same-titled ITV comedy, and the drama series Bull.
Subsequent roles included guest stints on Sports Night, CSI, Dawson’s Creek, Monk, and Crossing Jordan, as well as lead roles in feature films such as Sin, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, and A Cowgirl’s Story. She also played Lieutenant Commander Faith Coleman on both JAG and NCIS.
In 2016, she landed the role of prison physician Meredith Gates on The Young and the Restless. She had an affair with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at that time when he was jailed for his role in the Jack Abbott/Marco Annicelli (both Peter Bergman) switch. Romancing his doctor seemed to be his ticket out of the big house.
