The Young and the Restless recaps for October 11 – October 15, 2021, feature the long-awaited joining of Victoria Newman and Ashland Locke in holy matrimony.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones), Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) all arrive in Tuscany…Nick is aghast to learn that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) both support Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) union.
Jesse suggested that he reveal all of Ashland’s secrets during the wedding ceremony, but Billy dismissed that outright – he merely wants Jesse to relay all he knows to Victoria…Nick’s apology to Victoria went unaccepted; she invited him to attend her wedding but made it clear that she was only doing so to please Victor.
Billy and Ashland shared an awkward cross…Victor warned Ashland that Billy has most likely traveled with Jesse in tow…Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) struggled to compose a sincere best man speech…Jesse made a stealth exit, much to Billy’s chagrin.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King), Harrison, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), and Leslie Brooks (Janice Lynde) arrived in Tuscany.
Noah convinced Nick to remain in Italy and to attend the pre-wedding cocktail party…An exacerbated Billy filled Lily in on the devil’s bargain he made with Jesse; they both fear that Jesse will make a public spectacle.
Victor toasted the intendeds…Noah confided in Summer that’s he’s ready to live the art world behind and settle down…Victoria happened upon Ashland and Jesse during a tense exchange; she makes a beeline for Billy’s room.
Victoria blasted Billy for his interference, then stuns him with the news that Ashland has already admitted to tampering with Camila Rhodes’s will; Lily pushes Billy to accept the fact that Ashland and Victoria are in love, and that the wedding will proceed as scheduled…With an assist from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) replaces Victoria’s wedding gown with the one she designed especially for her.
Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) acts as a sounding board for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). When Tessa phones, Mariah cuts the convo short…Tension mounts between Nick and Phyllis.
Tessa and Leslie delighted the assemblage with their combined vocal talent and virtuosity on the piano…Adam delights in telling an incredulous Summer and Kyle that Sally is his date to Victoria’s wedding.
Victoria discovered that the wedding dress in her closet and the one she previously tried on are not one and the same; Sally came clean about her chicanery and implored Victoria to at least try on the gown she designed.
Nick disappointed Phyllis by deciding not to attend the ceremony…Victoria made her way down the aisle; Sally and Adam are pleased to watch her do so in Sally’s original creation…Nick caught Jesse sneaking around the palazzo.
Nick detained Jesse…Victoria and Ashland exchanged vows, and are pronounced man and wife…Jesse records a video in which he exposes all of Ashland’s crimes, including forging the codicil in Camila Rhodes’s will; he forwards it to Billy, alongside a text which states Billy has one hour to publish the story – if he chooses not to do so, Jesse promises to send the video to news outlets the world over.
Victoria’s dress is a hit; she thanks Sally for it, and pulls her into a hug…Nick alerts Adam to a situation at hand; Adam, in turn, alerts Victor.
