The Young and the Restless recap for December 2-6, 2019, features trouble for one little tyke, an ill-wind blowing through Genoa City, problems for Devon, and a thief revealed.
There must be something in the town’s water supply that, once consumed, interferes with the emotional development of young men and, inevitably, causes them to become psychopathic little monsters.
First, there was Max — remember him? He was Abby’s stepson who, after just a few days in Genoa City, was busying himself by setting traps that would either kill or seriously maim his father’s new bride. Even though Abby survived, her unborn baby wasn’t so lucky.
Now, it seems that Connor is heading down the same, dark path. Unconvinced? Let’s take a minute to let his new monster murdering mantra sink in. “Sharon go away. You can’t beat three. Mom, Dad and me.”
If Sharon’s (Sharon Case) smart she will extricate herself from this situation with a quickness — and hopefully before Connor starts coming up with ways to extricate her himself. Maybe Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) should reconsider putting this little guy in a care facility.

Then there was Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) taking refuge with Nikolas (Joshua Morrow), one of her favorite ex-husbands. Perhaps strangest of all was Amanda (Mishael Morgan) and Billy (Jason Thompson) who rode out the storm together in a little hole in the wall bar. A fact which Billy purposefully forgot to inform his pseudo-wife about.
Devon (Bryton James) continued to be haunted by the spirit of his dead wife. But now, she has a nasty habit of transforming into her lookalike, Amanda Sinclair. What’s up with that?
The ground Abby (Melissa Ordway) gained by getting up in Phyllis’ face and firing her as head of security at The Grand Phoenix was somewhat lost when she accidentally dropped her purse and allowed Chance (Donny Boaz) the opportunity to see that it was chock full of the guests’ stolen jewelry!
