Should Victoria Forgive Ashland on The Young and the Restless?
On The Young and the Restless, Victoria Newman is absolutely, positively done with Ashland Locke. Hey, remember how many times she said that about Billy Abbott? Remember how many times her brother, Nicholas Newman, said that about Sharon Rosales? Remember how many times her mother, Nikki Newman said that about Victoria’s father, Victor Newman?
What we’re saying is…that’s not the way these things work in Genoa City. Will Victoria (Amelia Heinle) forgive Ashland (Robert Newman)? Should she? What almost 2,000 voters told us:
He’s a lying liar who lies, 65% of you remind. Sure, so is Victor (Eric Braeden) and everyone else mentioned in the above paragraph. But this is different. Somehow. We’ll get back to you.
She should be getting revenge instead, 20% of the fans advise. Don’t just leave Ashland. Make him sorry that he ever decided to con you into marriage and out of your company. Hit him where it hurts the most. We suggest… Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). Surely, no one in the Newman family has ever expressed hesitation in using children as pawns and weapons.
A more optimistic 13% believe Ashland can be redeemed. If all he wanted was money, he’d take his $500 million pay-off and leave town? But he’s sticking around, accepting abuse from all and sundry. Maybe he really did fall in love with Victoria as he claimed. Maybe those two crazy kids deserve another chance…
He donated a quarter of a billion dollars to Nick’s little vanity project, New Hope. That affordable housing project the Newmans are supposedly building for the poor to make themselves feel better about being greedy capitalists. If they can use New Hope to whitewash their sins, shouldn’t Ashland get the same opportunity?
