Make Them Pay: How Should Young and the Restless’ Adam Strike Back?

Adam Newman always had a chip on his shoulder on The Young and the Restless. Some of his grudges, he brought upon himself. Like, you know, Victor Newman being peeved that his son tried to kill him.

But the way his family just jerked him around during the Victoria Newman-Ashland Locke breakup was, well, rotten, for lack of a better word. He has every right to be furious with them. Which only begs the question: What should Adam do about it?

Standing on My Own Two Feet

Neither Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) nor Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) ever graduated business college. OF course, they needed their Daddy to give them jobs and trust funds. Who else would possibly hire them? Adam (Mark Grossman), on the other hand, has a business degree from Harvard, and plenty of non-Newman work experience. He can get a job anywhere else on the planet, and he has enough of a track record that he could raise funds and investors for his own business. Which is what he should focus on, 67% advise, and cut them all loose.

Young and the Restless: The Power of Three

If Adam wants Victor’s (Eric Braeden) approval – we don’t know why, but he seems to, nonetheless – then Victor has made it clear that the only way to do it is to make himself subservient to his older sister and brother. Just suck it up, Adam, 23% of Young and the Restless fans prompt. It’s all you’ve got.

Enemy of My Enemy

Ashland (Robert Newman) wants to bring down Victor and Victoria. Adam wants to bring down Victor and Victoria. They should work together to bring down Victor and Victoria, 10% of the Young and the Restless audience says. Not only would it strike back at those who dismissed him, but Adam might actually have a business partner who appreciates him for who he is, not chastises him for who he isn’t.
