Should Sally Spectra let Adam know her secret?
Sally Spectra has a problem on The Young and the Restless. She’s pregnant. And the dad could be either current flame, Nicholas Newman, or his brother, her ex, Adam Newman. Sally and Adam are definitely broken up.
Well, you know, after they slept together for one last time. So she doesn’t need to talk to Adam (Mark Grossman) if she doesn’t want to. She doesn’t need to tell him anything if she doesn’t want to. But should she…want to? Here’s how over 2,000 viewers see it.
A generous 10% of you agree that Sally (Courtney Hope) technically doesn’t have to tell Adam. But it’s the polite thing to do. Yeah, he was a jerk to her. Yeah, he dumped her. Yeah, he claimed he didn’t love her. Yeah, he lied. A lot. But that doesn’t change the fact that the baby might be his. And that he still loves Sally. More than Nick (Joshua Morrow) ever will.
Right now, Sally doesn’t know what the truth is and what it isn’t, 34% of the audience reasonably points out. She honestly doesn’t know who her baby’s father is. Why should she tell Adam anything until she finds out for sure? If the baby is Nick’s, then Adam isn’t even an issue. And if it is…she can deal with the problem later.
What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, 56% point out. What that means is Sally told Nick, so she should tell Adam, too. Nick is already raising one of Adam’s sons — Christian. Adam fought Nick for custody when he first got back into town. So no way he would let Nick get his hands on another one of Adam’s kids. The sooner Sally deals with that, the better. Better that Sally tells him than Adam finds out on his own. And gets mad…very mad.
