brand-new Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a shocking day as Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) go ahead with their plan to expose Dr. Anderson. However, things quickly go awry. Attacking the doctor may have felt good at the time, but it put Safe in handcuffs, and now Nick is forced to commit his wife.
Thankfully, Sage isn’t in Fairview, but Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) still has access to her at Sage’s new home at Genoa City Memorial. Dr. Anderson thinks she’s won now that she has Sage is at her mercy–but has she?
Mrs. Newman may be under lockup, but not for the reasons the doctor believes. Anderson thinks she has Nick in the palm of her hand. She’s gone above and beyond to make Sage look like a lunatic and is sure her antics are working. She’s convinced Nick to commit his wife, effectively keeping Sage away from Sully–at least for now.

However, the jokes on Dr. Anderson. Nick and Sage have the sick and twisted doctor right where they want her. Sage wanted to the hospital stay let Anderson feel she has the upper hand. With Sage tucked away, Nick can now charm the truth out of the super sketchy newcomer.
Will this plan work? Nick may have charisma, but he’s not a schemer. In fact, Nick is the guy who hates when games and scams. Also, there’s an enormous risk their plan could backfire quickly if Anderson convinces Sage’s medical team she’s needs a more permanent solution!
