Viewers of The Young and the Restless (YR) have known Camryn Grimes for 20 years! They met her when she was playing Mariah’s twin, Cassie, who was living with her grandmother until Tony and Grace brought her to Genoa City.
Cassie met a tragic fate while driving recklessly and viewers were treated to occasional visits from Grimes as Cassie’s ghost or a figment of her parents’ imaginations.
Major Grimes
One day, we learned that the latest apparition of Cassie was actually the flesh and blood appearance of her twin, Mariah. Sharon (Sharon Case) had been pregnant with twins and didn’t know it. (Oddly, this phenomenon is not a rarity on soaps.)
And Grimes has been appearing on the show ever since!
