‘Silly?’ Here’s Why Sally And Billy Work On Young and the Restless

With Adam and Chelsea gone on the August 6 episode of The Young and the Restless, Sally and Billy supported each other. These two had some deep conversations, and we couldn’t help but see a future for “Silly.”

Sally (Courtney Hope) struggled with her feelings on losing Ava Hope, and without Adam (Mark Grossman) there, she was extra sad. Billy (Jason Thompson) knows all too well the pain of losing a child. He was on hand to provide a listening ear and some comforting empathy when Sally expressed how she’s been.

Billy even gave Sally a hug, and we could see where this would lead to much more, especially once the “secret” Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) have been keeping gets out. While, of course, they may just be a rebound since they’ll both be recovering from being cheated on, it’s possible that these two could build something lasting.

Billy may have finally met his perfect match in Sally. They both seem to have a restless feeling in their lives and perhaps they’d be a good fit for each other. Given that they’ve bonded lately, we wouldn’t be at all surprised to see something more develop between these two jilted lovers. Perhaps Sally will end up being the one who finally gets Billy to grow up and settle down. Won’t Victoria (Amelia Heinle) be jealous? Maybe not, since she has Cole (J. Eddie Peck).
