Kelly Sullivan Confirms Exit From Young and the Restless

It was a sad week on “The Young and the Restless” with the sudden and shocking death of Sage (Kelly Sullivan).

Her death left some fans wondering if Sullivan was officially off the show Y&R, or if there was a chance for a character revival, with some speculating that she could return as a ghost and haunt Sharon (Sharon Case). This morning, we finally have an answer.

Sullivan surfaced on social media to say an official goodbye to fans. “RIP Sage.” Sullivan wrote. “It was such an amazing run! Thank you to the fans for all your love and support. And thank you to my Y&R family.”

Sullivan joined the show late in 2014 and created the role of Sage Warner. During Sage’s time in Genoa city, she helped Adam (Justin Hartley) with his master plan to return to town with a new face, married into the billion dollar Newman family, and was involved in a heartbreaking baby snatching storyline. Her death serves as a reminder to leave your cell phone alone while driving.

Many actors have come and gone from the Y&R soundstage, but Sullivan’s departure in the midst of a major storyline has left fans angry, bitter, and already missing her character.
