On The Young and the Restless, Adam Newman gave Sally Spectra a ride to Italy so she could sneak the wedding dress she designed into Victoria Newman’s closet – and get good press for the company Adam owns. It was business. Nothing personal.
Of course, the handful of kisses they shared, was kind of personal. Adam (Mark Grossman) says he has to focus on Connor (Judah Mackey) right now, so Sally (Courtney Hope) stepped aside. But should she have? Is this a supercouple in the making? What over 5,000 fans had to say about the possibility:
We love them together, 54% of the audience cheers. They are just what the other needs. Not only is there so much complimentary pretty, but they could be the power couple that runs Genoa City. Both try to be good – but understand that periodic slip-ups are inevitable. They could be more than lovers. They could be partners.
It’s too soon to tell, 30% of you contradict. We’ve only seen a couple of exchanges, and most of them have been about work. Adam and Sally both have so much baggage. Let’s see how they’ll handle finding out the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about each other.
Adam is a Newman, 14% remind. And Newmans can do better. Sally is nothing. She’s trash. Her family isn’t wealthy, and she actually has to work for a living. Sure, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) could have pulled off marrying a stripper. But his son hasn’t got the gravitas.
Want proof that the above is true? How about the fact that only 2% think that Sally can do better. She is the town pariah. No one will ever forgive her for helping Summer Newman (Hunter King) get her dream job. What man would want her after that?
