A Major Clue Suggests Eric Isn’t Over Quinn on Bold and the Beautiful

Eric still has Quinn on his mind. Recently, he brought up the time when Carter stole his ex-wife away from him on The Bold and the Beautiful. Eventually, Eric forgave Carter for the illicit affair. However, Eric’s latest scenes suggest that Eric still isn’t over his ex-wife.

B&B viewers have been excited about the references to Quinn (Rena Sofer). Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) got into a heated exchange with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). The father and son had no idea that Carter would ever stoop this low. They didn’t see it coming.

Carter was low-key planning this moment. He decided to take over Forrester Creations after they shot down his ideas. Eric realized that he shouldn’t have trusted Carter after all. He brought up the time when Carter had an affair with his ex-wife Quinn.

Eric and Quinn were having issues in the bedroom, even though their marriage seemed solid at the time. Quinn became attracted to Carter and couldn’t resist him, leading to their affair.

The soap opera took it to another level. Eric asked Carter to please his wife in the bedroom. He wanted his wife to be happy. But Carter couldn’t agree because he was in love with Quinn.

She eventually realized she was in love with Carter when she discovered Eric in bed with Donna (Jennifer Gareis). Quinn declared her love to Carter in the middle of his wedding to Paris (Diamond White), and the rest is soap opera history.

Not Over Her?

Eric hasn’t removed that moment from his mind. He’s brought up a few times in his discussion with Carter. He also referred to Quinn as his “wife,” rather than his ex-wife. This seems to suggest that Eric isn’t over his marriage to Quinn.

According to Eric, he knows deep down he shouldn’t have trusted Carter again. But it’s about more than trust. It’s about his love for his former wife. Eric kept bringing up the heavy affair, but he doesn’t realize that he also made the mistake of sleeping with Donna instead of fixing his marriage.

This was twisted and complicated. Quinn and Eric’s marriage fell apart because Eric thought he wasn’t in love with Quinn anymore. Yet, he hasn’t realized that he was part of the problem. Eric is still blaming Carter.
