Soap Hub Wellness Wednesday: B&B’s Matthew Atkinson Visits Nature

They say that fresh air is good for you and that laughter is the best medicine. If both are true, The Bold and the Beautiful’s Matthew Atkinson, who plays Thomas Forrester, is staying in good health as he spends a fair amount of time communing with nature and making funny puns about his travels, too!

Matthew Atkinson: Fresh Air Is Good For The Soul

For this week’s installment of Wellness Wednesday, Soap Hub clicked through Atkinson’s Instagram account. The B&B star, who thrills us as Thomas, posts beautiful scenic shots of his travel outdoors. He comes up with some fairly punny quotes alongside the pictures that make for entertaining messages.

Last summer, Atkinson visited Inyo National Forest in California. “Was I spotted in the wild looking off in the distance?” the actor rhetorically asked in his post. “Did I say ‘hey, take a picture’ and then pretend to not know a picture was being taken? Did a bird fly by and crap a photo of me like a Polaroid? You may never know.”

No. 1 Dalmatian

Just last month, Atkinson traveled to the Napa Valley and posed for a picture with his beloved pooch. “Ran into the infamous @101dalmaisels in Napa,” the actor posted. “I don’t think she was expecting to be spotted. We had some whine. She didn’t seem too hounded by our time together.”

The actor recently mixed up his workout by taking back up the game of golf in April, close to home in Los Angeles. “It’s been 3 years since I held a club, and about 13 since I played more than once in a year,” he posted. “If I keep this pace I’ll be playing in the Masters in the year 4522…”

Atkinson’s Bold and the Beautiful Buddy

In March, Atkinson traveled to Utah. He had a hoodie to keep him warm, courtesy of his co-star Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter). “When my deer friend @kimberlin_brown cares enough to remind me to get home safe from my adventures, I look at pretty views like I don’t know I’m having my picture taken,” the actor dryly noted. “Buck up and get one of her new hoodies! @humankindcompany.”

Atkinson enjoys visiting sunny locales and making punny remarks as his followers discovered when the star traveled to the southern east coast. “The sunshine state. Your theme parks, beaches, and cool people never disappoint,” he posted. “Orange you glad I didn’t make a Florida joke? Darn.”

One takeaway from Atkinson’s posts is you can’t go wrong if you get outside and enjoy some fresh air. And it’s clear the actor has a sense of humor as evidenced by his comical comments in his social media messages. Humor, as they say, is the best medicine.
