Who Did This Preened and Posed Cutie Grow Up To Play On Soaps?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this preened and posed cutie grew up to be?

Star Of The Soaps

Obviously, this young woman (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.

So try these on for size. She began her professional career while still a child. She was signed to the Ford Modeling Agency. She is a soap hopper and a Daytime Emmy Award-nominated actress. She is a spokesperson for Proactive Solutions and a member of a band.

But just who can she be? Is this a photograph of Bobbie Eakes (ex-Macy Alexander, B&B), Chrishell Stause (ex-Jordan Ridgeway, DAYS), Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Webber Baldwin, GH), or Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson, Y&R)?

Bobbie Eakes

Eakes rocked out as the lead singer of the all-girl band Big Trouble and she’s played two beloved soap characters: Macy on B&B and Krystal Carey on All My Children. However, despite her status as a Daytime Emmy Award-nominated performer, Eakes was not signed to the Ford Modeling Agency, nor is she the spokesperson for Proactive. Therefore, she isn’t today’s featured star.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Chrishell Stause

Soap hopper? Check! Nominated for a Daytime Emmy? Check! Spokesperson for Proactive? Check! But that’s where the similarities end. Stause was in her early twenties when she launched her acting career, and she didn’t sign a contract with the Ford Modeling Agency.

Rebecca Herbst

Though she isn’t the answer to today’s identity query, Herbst does have quite a few things in common with her. Both have been nominated for Daytime Emmys and both have been in the business since childhood.

Melissa Claire Egan

As a child, Egan was very active in musical theater, and that eventually led to acting roles in many nationally aired commercials and a contract with the Ford Modeling Agency.

Among Egan’s earliest TV credits were episodes of Dawson’s Creek and One Tree Hill, quickly followed by a starring role on the ABC soap All My Children (where she played Annie Lavery) and, much later, Y&R. Egan has advertised Proactive Solutions since 2012, and in her spare time, she sings in a band called Canal Street.

So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the image above was Melissa Claire Egan, then you were absolutely correct!
