Here Are The Winners Of The 2nd Annual Soap Hub Awards

The 2nd Annual Soap Hub Award Winners were announced on ‘The Talk’ today! Show hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, and Sheryl Underwood welcome the winners onto ‘The Talk’ stage to accept their accolades.

Favorite Newcomer: Nicholas Alexander Chavez (Spencer Cassadine, General Hospital)
Favorite Feud: Carly (Laura Wright) and Nina (Cynthia Watros), General Hospital
Favorite Soap Opera: General Hospital, Frank Valentini, Executive Producer

“Daytime fans have always been passionate and outspoken about their favorite performers and shows,” says Diane Brounstein, Soap Hub’s Editor in Chief. “We wanted to give soap opera viewers the opportunity to have their voices heard.”

Bringing the Soap Hub Awards to ‘The Talk’ feels like a great way to honor the daytime community and its loyal viewers,” said Heather Gray and Kristin Matthews, executive producers, ‘The Talk.’ “We’re excited for this partnership and to celebrate this year’s favorite soap opera performances chosen by the fans.”

There were two additional awards chosen by the Editors of Soap Hub. The Soap Hub Editors’ Award went to James Reynolds, who is celebrating 40 years as Abe Carver on Days of our Lives. The Soap Hub Heritage Award went to The Bold and the Beautiful, which is set to celebrate its 35th anniversary on March 23, 2022.
