Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has an enemy, and they mean business. He and Dex (Evan Hofer) were warned when shots rang out at the pier. Now the men find themselves in the middle of a gun battle that is sure to have serious consequences. “I’d say you have a very powerful enemy,” Brick (Stephen A. Smith) surmises when all is said and done. Someone wants the mob boss dead…but who?

That’s a question Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) has for her dad. “I don’t know yet,” is Sonny’s only answer. Living his kind of life, the possibilities are endless. The hunt is on, and Sonny is determined to find out the truth. “I’m going to find out what’s going on, and I’m going to stop it,” he assures a panicked Carly. General Hospital History

GH made its debut in 1963 and was created by the husband and wife team of Frank and Doris Hursley, taking place at a hospital but in an unnamed city. In fact, the setting wasn’t named as Port Charles until the 1970s. General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) super spy exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
