The GH spoilers recap for Monday, May 16, 2022, features Portia Robinson letting her true feelings out about a spoiled little rich kid.
Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) day started with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) suggesting they go horseback riding and have a picnic as foreplay. Spencer bowed out of that quickly and made his way to Kelly’s where he spotted Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) outside. He told her he was sorry about everything happening to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Portia didn’t even want to hear it.
While calling Esme an awful person and Spencer a human wrecking ball, Portia let the young man know that because of him and his girlfriend, Trina might end up with a permanent record and be kicked out of college. Spencer tried to be empathetic by mentioning he spent time in prison and Portia laughed in his face about his 30 days in Spring Ridge. Portia was so loud that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Trina could hear what was going on from inside.
Trina had just been telling Ava about how no matter what happens at the trial, PCU could expel her when they heard the ruckus and went to see what was going on. Trina left to have lunch elsewhere with her mother while Ava told Spencer he needs to stop torturing Trina.
Back at Wyndemere, Esme cozied up to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and told him that her troubles are nothing compared to his troubles with Ava. It even looked as if they were about to kiss.
When Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) stopped by to see Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he told her he got a hold of Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) arrest record and knew he left his family for no real reason. Curtis also realized Aunt Stella knew this for a long time.
Stella cried and begged for forgiveness, telling Curtis that when she came to live with his family, she learned that Marshall had left on his own accord, but was not dead. Curtis’s mother also agreed with Marshall that their sons should believe he had died.
At the Port Charles Elementary school fair, Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) read his poem to rave reviews after focusing his eyes solely on Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) smile. But it wasn’t all fun and happiness as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) continued to treat Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) like dirt. At least Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) tried to be nice to him
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had lunch at the Metro Court Gardens where Anna told her friend how Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had come to her house, kissed her, and then ghosted her. Just then, Valentin happened by and when Anna took a phone call, Felicia gave him the third degree and warned him not to hurt Anna.
Anna later returned to the table and said the WSB now believes that Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) killed Luke Spencer (Tony Geary). That made Felicia and Anna think of the mysterious French captain, who is really Valentin. When Valentin soon suggested he and Anna share the wine he brought over weeks ago, Anna said she and Felicia already indulged so the wine is gone.
Back at the fair, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Michael offered Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) the COO position at ELQ, but he had to think about it. He also had to meet with Valentin behind the bushes to see what he had to offer.
