GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 8, 2022
The GH spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 8, 2022, features Sonny Corinthos giving his new employee a warning but little does he know he is the one who has to be warned.
Before Dex (Evan Hofer) could even get two words out to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) at the Quartermaine stables, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brando Corbin (temporarily played by Brad Schmidt) arrived and ushered Dex right out of there. Dante then stayed behind to talk to Michael, who semi-admitted he is the one causing trouble with Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) coffee business. Dante asked him if all this trouble was worth it and how he would ever distance himself from Sonny if all he could think of was revenge on Sonny. Michael had no real answers.
Selina Wu (Lydia Look) was concerned with Sonny’s business but he told her he thought he knew who was behind the trouble and he was taking care of it. That’s when Brando walked in with Dex and told him what was going on. Sonny told Dex to never cause trouble for any of his children again, and that included Michael. Dex tried to argue with him that he was a self-starter, but Sonny didn’t care.
Later, Michael met up with Dex on the docks and it turned out that Dex is working for Michael to try to bring Sonny down. That is why Dex was so confused when Michael told him to stay away from his father. It seems Michael really is good at this revenge thing.
After her lecture from Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) left a voicemail to try to make amends with her mother but was also horrified to see a viral gif of her falling into the pool. Britt called a lawyer to see if she could get it scrubbed from the Internet. When she showed up at the Metro Court pool, she was surprised to see Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and wondered if something was going on between them. Brad assured her it wasn’t and then casually confessed to being the one who made the gif and sent it to a social media influencer.
Cody and Britt argued some more when Selina showed up to talk to Brad. She was quite pleased that Brad was enjoying his job in The Savoy poker room and said she was ready for more work.
Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) blew up at Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) for always wanting to hover over her. She assured Gladys she wanted to stay clean so she would. When a package of baby shoes that were on back order arrived, Sasha broke down but then Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) showed up to discuss Deception business, which distracted Sasha.
Later, Gladys saw Sasha trying to take pills and knocked the whole bottle out of her hand as soon as Brando Corbin walked in.
