If anyone can be a doctor, a priest, and a superhero all at once, it’s Matt Cohen–just as long as his superhero duties don’t take him away from “General Hospital!”
Twitter fans of the impossibly handsome Cohen started a campaign to see that he is cast as Superman in the TV show “Supergirl.” The crusade (cue laughter!) has what any valid one needs these days–its own hashtag: #MattCohenIsSuperman.
On Wednesday, a Twitter fan scheduled a “trending party” on to see that GH’s Dr. Griffin Munro becomes TV’s next Superman.

Several fans even tagged the firm that casts “Supergirl,” as this one did:
Another passionate supporter literally screeched with excitement!
Cohen received all this lauding by fans with his characteristic grace and humility:
“Supergirl’s” second season will air on the CW, not on CBS, its original home.
Cohen already has some fantasy credits under his belt already. He appeared as young John Winchester and Michael on CW’s drama, “Supernatural.”
GH airs weekdays on ABC. Share your thoughts, leave a comment in the section below. Additionally, for more General Hospital spoilers updates, recaps, and news, go to Soap Hub’s Facebook fanpage and join the conversation about all your favorite soaps! Follow Akbi Khan on Twitter at @LTASoaps!
