Alexis Davis has been sitting in prison for months on General Hospital. And her only crime was trying to kill a man! And it wasn’t even the man she was trying to kill! Where is the justice? Is it time for her to fly the coop?
#FREEAlexis, 77% of you are ready to hit the streets, chant, march, maybe make T-shirts. Look at all the murderers who are currently walking the streets of Port Charles. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is the obvious example, with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) running a close second.
But there is also Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), Peter August (Wes Ramsey), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)…the point is, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is a horrible person…but she’s not worse than anyone else.
Let Alexis earn her way out of General Hospital prison, 16% suggest. It’s how Sonny did it. Surely, she can find a governor’s daughter to rescue. Hasn’t she been offering free legal advice, trying to help unfairly convicted women overturn their convictions? Maybe she can earn enough merit badges to win a release. Isn’t that how the system works in Port Charles? It’s a personality contest?
Only 7% are enjoying Alexis’s incarceration. Because she’s on more frequently while wearing black and white stripes (we know she’s not, but it’s more visual this way), then when it was three-piece suits. She’s also a bit more humble and not nearly as much of a judgmental know-it-all. Prison has done her a world of good. Without affecting the bounce in her hair or the sleek shine of her nails. Really she should have gotten off her high horse and gone bad a long time ago.
