The GH spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 25, 2022, features a spiraling Sonny Corinthos hurting a plethora of feelings, Alexis Davis bidding her one and only bestie adieu, and Esme Prince continuing to prove that she’s a schemer.
When manic Sonny (Maurice Benard) doesn’t get his way, he gets awfully mean. Like hitting below the belt mean. Like being super-duper rude to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Like telling Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), to his face, that he’s a poor imitation of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and that it should be he and not Jason consigned to a grisly fate.
This guy is really going to have a lot to answer for when he gets back on his lithium regimen. Luckily, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) got him out of the club and back home…and realized he was off his meds.
At the exact same moment that Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is telling Harmony (Inga Cadranel) that they can’t see each other anymore, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) appeared from the either and told Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) that she’d be totes cool with Alexis hanging out with the woman who was nearly accomplice to her rape. Why should it be a big deal? Everyone deserves a second chance.
In addition to that big ole bottle of mystery pills, Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) procured herself a burner phone. No points for guessing that this little minx is out to cause mayhem and mischief.
Esme’s male counterpart, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), is also up to something nefarious, now that he realizes the sonograms held by Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are identical…but it is a bad look that it took Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) to point out the Patient ID on the back of one Victor was holding. Did the man seriously not turn the pic around even once?
