One Life To Live alum Josh Kelly, who played Cutter Wentworth on the defunct ABC soap, is joining General Hospital in an undisclosed contract role. According to Deadline, the character will impact the lives of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco,) Dante Falconeri (Dom Zamprogna), and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), which sounds suspiciously like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Gregory Harrison pops back in as Gregory Chase. He’ll share scenes with Jophielle Love’s Violet on Thursday, May 19.
Stephanie Erb has reportedly wrapped up her run as Alexis Davis. Erb temporarily replaced Nancy Lee Grahn while she was recovering from back surgery.
That was Jen Ray appearing as Chelsea Lam, the psychic who tried to advise Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Lam previously appeared on the soap in 2019.
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the longest-running soap opera currently on the air. From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air.
