On a day that’s supposed to be about one’s self, General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn is thinking of others. On Tuesday, April 28, the woman behind Alexis Davis will host both an Instagram Live and Facebook Live to raise money for COVID-19-related causes.
“My bday wish is to give relief to those most in need during this pandemic. Best bday,” the actress wrote on her Twitter account.
The announcement was originally made on a Twitter account that regularly posts news about Grahn and her career.
“Who wants to join in a joyful, fun tweetfest that day to celebrate her? We can share fave NLG scenes, including from #SantaBarbara and #GH! Plus, raise $ for a good #COVID19 related cause that we vote on. Who’s in?,” the Tweet from NLGLove said.
While the coronavirus pandemic is a big deal to us all, Grahn has stated publically that her fiancé is immune-compromised so she is naturally very fearful of the disease.
Grahn likes to keep her personal life private for the most part, but she has revealed that her fiancé is a veteran of the contemporary music world with 13 albums, and the actress first announced the engagement on Twitter in December.
“With my soon to be husband in his hometown, Eugene Oregon, right in the spot where he got his 1st kiss,” she wrote.
Earlier this week, Grahn posted a photo on her Instagram account kissing her fiancé through masks with the humorous caption: “This is not as easy as it looks. I think I got close to a lip” next to a hashtag of #Coronakissing
Alexis Davis would be probably be all for this act, as Port Charles’ go-to lawyer is known for her giving deeds as well. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
