The General Hospital recap (GH) for Thursday, June 28th features Dante saying a VERY surprising goodbye to Lulu.
Poor Lulu (Emme Rylan) was stunned when Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) called her home to tell her news she needed to sit down for. He found a lead on the arms dealer who nearly killed her two years ago and joined a WSB task force to find him.
Without even saying goodbye to the kids, Dante got in a car for what he was calling a temporary assignment. Lulu stood there crying, not knowing what hit her. (Considering this was Dominic Zamprogna’s last day, neither did we. Like, this is how they wrote Dante out? Look for more on that from Soap Hub.)
Well, Dante won’t be around to bring down Nelle (Chloe Lanier), but Chase (Josh Swickard) did make assurances that he’d not fall for Nelle again.
Chase was later shocked when Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle arrived at the PCPD, looking to speed up a marriage license application.
Over at GH, Ava (Maura West) tried to plot how to assassinate Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva), but Franco (Roger Howarth) wasn’t going for it. Instead, they were both quite intrigued when Scott told them Bensch asked him to represent him.
They convinced Scott (Kin Shriner) to throw the case, and Bensch was a tad suspicious when Scott said he could defend him after all.
Drew (Billy Miller) stopped by Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) house to make sure he really and truly is invited to her latest wedding. Well, he was and he’s quite surprised Franco likes him so much.
Sam, Take Over
At the boxing gym, Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) talked Carly and Sam almost lost it when Jason said he’d flee the country with Carly if he has to. So much for returning to town to be with the very available Sam.
At least Sam managed to talk him out of it, and then told him straight out that she will join him on his quest to figure out Nelle’s fiendish plot.
