The General Hospital recap for Friday, July 12, 2019, features a satisfying arrest, a surprising job promotion and a gunshot that signifies dark days ahead for a beloved couple.
At GH, Lucas (Ryan Carnes) attacked Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) when Shiloh continued to taunt him about Wiley’s paternity. Mac (John J. York) arrived with a warrant to arrest Shiloh on charges of extortion, false promise and sexual coercion. Shiloh was further shocked to hear that Harmony had turned against him. However, he defiantly promised to be out of jail very soon.
Dev (Ashton Arbab)) tried to convince Sonny (Maurice Benard) to give him a job at the coffee warehouse but Sonny insisted the teen was going have a summer job at the Metro Court and then go to school in the Fall. Later, at the Metro Court, Dev planned to rob Laura’s (Genie Francis) purse but Jason (Steve Burton) caught him in the act.
Finn (Michael Eastman) accompanied Hayden (Rebecca Budig) down to the police station where Chase (Josh Swickard) questioned her about Liesl (Kathleen Gati) accusation. Chase tried to pump Hayden for information about Finn but Jax (Ingo Rademacher) arrived to collect Hayden. Alone, Jax insisted that Hayden stop pretending that they are a couple. She knew their arrangement was strictly business.
Over at Crimson, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) revealed to Nina (Cynthia Watros) that Jax had files on him and Cassandra Pierce. Nina wondered how Jax could have linked them to Cassandra seeing as how Anna and Finn wouldn’t rat them out. Jax arrived and presented Hayden as Crimson’s new CFO.
Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) arrived at the Ithaca facility for a meeting with Dante but found their efforts stalled. Finally, a guard arrived and told them that Dante refused to see them.
In fact, Dante could care less about their concerns. Refusing to take no for an answer, Maxie stormed the hallway after the agent and witnessed an altercation involving a gun. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
