The General Hospital recap for Friday, December 3, 2021, features a whole lot of boohooing, a whole lot of threats, and a little bit of deserved stabbing.
Having already received a lot of attitude, courtesy of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), the last thing Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) wanted or needed was to come face-to-face with the dreaded Peter August (Wes Ramsey) – a man who was looking pretty chipper for someone who just got stuck like a pig by Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).
As per usual, Peter got all whispery and threatening and you could just tell by her facial expression that Nina was silently damning herself for ever freeing that monster from the cabin Aunt Liesl (Kathleen Gati) imprisoned him in.
But the biggest question that remains to be seen is whether or not Carly overheard Peter pointedly mentioning Nina and Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) romantic entanglement in Nixon Falls…but since Nina still had a head on her shoulders before the fade to black, it’s a safe bet that she did not.
At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) urging, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) swung by Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) abode and asked very politely if he could bid baby Bailey adieu – as if he didn’t just ruin the Quartermaines’ Thanksgiving dinner or get Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) suspended from the police force for an entire six months.
In the end, Valentin got his wish, and the sight of him crying over his predicament led Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to decide that she had to bring the charade to an end by…killing Peter? One can but dream.
There’s still no word on Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) baby, but the parents have hope as well as Sonny and Carly on their side. What more could they possibly need?
