A new little girl is arriving on the “General Hospital” scene in the form of five-year-old actress Jazmyn Skye Vale.
According to Soaps.com, Vale will play a pint-sized character named Athena who’ll make her first appearance on July 25.
Although there’s no word on how Athena will be connected to anyone in Port Charles, the name is decidedly Greek, which makes us wonder if she’ll somehow be connected to the Cassadines.

The Greek clan is set to have a major story this summer with Jason (Billy Miller) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) searching for Nikolas.
Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) will also be tracking down more clues from the book Helena left Laura in her will. Elizabeth may even get in on the Cassadine action if she attempts deciphering what the book “Jake’s Adventures” means.
All that will likely lead to a showdown on Cassadine Island, where we’re guessing we might see The Dark Prince himself with a new face (Nick Stabile, temporarily playing Nikolas). Perhaps we’ll also see Jazmyn Vale as Athena when the Cassadine Clue Hunt comes to an end.
