Finola Hughes has had quite a busy year on “General Hospital” but it’s once again time for the actress to take her summer vacation.
Last year, Anna left for Europe to clear her mind after she shot and (allegedly) killed Carlos following Duke’s death. When she made her way back to the states, she returned right to the front burner and spent the last 10 months coming to terms with what happened to Duke–and her own actions.

When Hughes took her summer break last year, she planned to direct a film called “The Byrd and the Bees” but the film never really got off the ground. She returned to the GH set early in 2015, but no word on whether that may happen this year.
With Anna off the Port Charles scene for the summer, might that clear the way for Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) to finally have Andre (Anthony Montgomery) to herself? And, when Anna returns, will she like what she sees going on with her new friend and old shrink?
