Just as actor Jeffrey Vincent Parise makes his second May sweeps departure, on-screen love Teresa Castillo makes her May sweeps return.
Yesterday, fans were shocked when Julian (William deVry) actually used the dagger that killed his wife’s mother to stab Carlos dead. Today, he dumps his body in the river and it seems that the man we thought was dead a year ago is really, most sincerely dead now.
Parise can’t say he wasn’t surprised when Executive Producer told him the end was coming.
“It was a surprise to me,” he said in the May 23 issue of Soap Opera Digest. “I thought because they went to the trouble to bring me back to life and create this whole story around it that I was going to be back for a while. So, it was shocking, but not as shocking as the first time.”

The news also shocked Castillo, who was saddened to learn she’d return from maternity leave to a dead Carlos.
“I was so bummed out to find out that Carlos had been killed off–again!” she told Digest. “Especially since it happened while I was gone. I had hoped to have more scenes with him. Jeff is so great to work with and everybody loves him.”
Expect to see Sabina on your screens Friday, May 20. Will Michael (Chad Duell) finally track her down or will she return to the Port Charles scene on her own? Stay tuned and find out.
