Who’s coming and who’s going from General Hospital (GH)?
Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?
Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.
The week of October 16, 2017
Asher McDonell plays a young Andrew on Monday, October 16. The kid’s no stranger to soaps. He played Chelsea and Adam’s son, Connor, on The Young and the Restless back in 2015.
Wally Kurth and Lisa LoCicero resurface as newlyweds Ned and Olivia, when they return from their honeymoon, this week.
Gene Farber reappears as Dr. Klein, the devious surgeon at the Russian clinic.
On the exit front, Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina) and Ashley Jones (Parker), whose characters moved to Portland, last week, will be off the canvas for a while.
Ainsworth played Kristina from 2009 to 2011 and returned in 2015. Jones had just returned as Parker in August.
That was Fred Grandy, remembered as Gopher on The Love Boat, playing Father Cory in scenes with Griffin (Matthew Cohen), last week. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
