General Hospital fans are rejoicing at the return of the one and only Jasper Jax, played once again by Ingo Rademacher.
His arrival on The Nurse’s Ball red carpet nearly struck Nina (Michelle Stafford) speechless — and this is a woman who often can’t shut up. Do we think he’s just in Port Charles to support grief-stricken daughter Joss (Eden McCoy) – or is there a second, secret agenda? What almost 5,000 viewers had to say!
Sneak Attack
Of course, 85% of you predict confidently. Did you see that look Jax exchanged with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart)?
That had to mean something! Jax is colluding with the Cassadines! Or he’s antagonizing the Cassadines! Or he recognized Valentin from a previous business deal! Or he was just being polite!
Does anyone really think Jax is just here for Joss? If he cared that much about his daughter sitting by her dying boyfriend Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) bedside while Oscar was still alive, why wasn’t he there to support Joss then? Joss is, at best, a nice fringe benefit. At worse an excuse for Joss is really up to in Port Charles.
And while fans are always happy to see him, you hope he isn’t here to take another shot at Carly (Laura Wright) again. Because he’s going to lose. Sonny (Maurice Benard) is going to win. And you’ve already seen this rerun. More than once.

Innocent Man
Only 15% of the audience buys the I’m Just Here For Joss excuse. It makes perfect sense that Jax would want to be there for his daughter in her time of need.
He’s a good dad. Well, he’s no worse than Robert (Tristan Rogers), who also parented from Australia for a while. He’ll touch base with Carly, and probably Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ned (Wally Kurth), too. But there’s nothing sneaky about any of it.
