General Hospital Missing Person’s Report: Where On Earth Is Kristina Corinthos?

General Hospital has so many characters floating around on the canvas that some of them get lost in the shuffle. Right now, there are few characters as noticeably absent from the Port Charles scene as Kristina Corinthos-Davis, a character we watched grow up onscreen who is also desperately needed.

General Hospital Emergency: Kristina Is MIA

The last time we saw Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) appear on screen was the night she helped her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), prepare for his special date with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) on the Haunted Star. That was also the famous night when Carly turned up late and Sonny slept with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) because Kristina told Sonny she didn’t think Carly would show.

Yet, we have seen no fallout from that or any remorse that she gave her dad the wrong info. And that’s because Kristina has been missing ever since.

While Lexi Ainsworth’s Instagram shows that she spent some time this spring traveling to places like London and Paris, that is still no reason not to use this talented Daytime Emmy-winning actress as much as possible and have her be present in her parents’ storylines. The woman who tried to initiate her into a cult, Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), tried to kill her mother and Kristina was nowhere to be found.

When Sonny visits Charlie’s Pub to talk to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), he should see his daughter there, too, as she was supposedly running the place before Sonny bought it and still allegedly works there.

When Sonny made his return to PC after his family believed he was dead for nine months, his reunion with his oldest daughter, Kristina, was the one that brought fans to tears more than any other. She belongs in a front-and-center storyline and if that’s too much for the GH writers at the moment, considering the bloated cast, then at least have her around for her family because her presence only makes sense.
