Entertainment News: Love and Family

Kaley Cuoco is off the market. The TV star is dating Ozark’s, Tom Pelphrey. The couple made their relationship status official in an Instagram post.

It’s baby number two for Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas. The pair showed off her budding baby bump in an interview with Elle UK. The couple welcomed a daughter, Willa in 2020.

19 Kids and Counting’s Jed Duggar is a father! He and his wife Katey Nakatsu were proud to announce the arrival of their son, Truett Oliver, on Monday.

The Vampire Diaries star, Kat Graham said yes to director Darren Genet. The couple shared the news with People Magazine. They began dating in 2017 after meeting on the set of the show.

Famed rapper Post Malone is expecting his first child. He and his girlfriend are excited to become first-time parents. The rapper said this is the happiest he has ever been.

Joey Lawrence is a married man! He took his vows with actress Samantha Cope on May 1st. This is the actor’s third marriage and he’s sure he’s got it right this time.

Gold Star Accomplishments

Dolly Parton is accepting her place in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after some deliberation. She turned down the honor at first but is now welcoming the high honors.

Madonna fans have a reason to celebrate. The superstar announced she is creating a remix collection of her iconic 50 top dance songs. The album: Finally Enough Love is set to release this summer.

Rapper The Kid Creole will spend the next decade and a half behind bars. He was sentenced to 16-years for the stabbing death of a homeless man.

Entertainment News: Illness and Injury

Just last week, Sharon Osbourne cut her new show short to be with her husband, Ozzy, after his Covid diagnosis. This week, she announced she and her daughter, Kelly, also caught the virus.

Leave It to Beaver alum Tony Dow announced he is battling cancer. The former child star, who rose to fame as everyone’s favorite big brother, Wally Clever, announced his diagnosis on May 5th.

Celebrity Scandals

Kim Kardashian lit the internet on fire by wearing Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress to the Met Gala. The show-stopping moment was met with mixed reviews and many had strong opinions.

Kanye West is heading to court over his Donda album. A pastor, whose sermon is sampled on the track “Come To Life” has taken issue with the recording.

Kim Cattrall has finally come forward with the real reason she turned down returning to the Sex and the City franchise. She took issue with a highly questionable storyline and decided against bringing Sam back into the fold.

What’s On & What’s Not

Bayside High School is shutting its doors once again with the cancellation of Saved By The Bell: The New Class. The show is coming to an end after a two-season run.

Fred Savage is fired from the ABC reboot of the 1988 series The Wonder Years as executive producer and director, according to Deadline. After multiple allegations of inappropriate misconduct were investigated he was removed. The second season has not been inked yet.

Fantasy Island is set to reunite Desperate Housewives alums Teri Hatcher and James Denton. Watch for them to appear on the May 31st episode.

Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan are going back to their roots in the finale for the Aussie soap Neighbours. The show is going off-air on August 1st after 37 years.

Law & Order: SVU Showrunner Warren Leight is stepping away from the show. He announced his departure over Twitter on May 3rd.

Entertainment News: In Memoriam

Toddlers & Tiara’s star Kailia Posey has died. The 16-year-old who rose to fame on the show and was made into an iconic meme took her own life on May 2nd.

Television mainstay David Birney passed away on May 3rd. The actor, fondly remembered for his roles in St. Elsewhere and Glitter, began his acting career in 1967 and continued for 40 years. He lost his battle with Alzheimer’s disease at 83 years old.

A second loss for the alum cast of St. Elsewhere came on Thursday with the announcement that Norman Lloyd died. The 106-year-old actor passed away at his home on Tuesday.

News came on Friday that Mike Hagerty died. The actor, well loved for his role as Mr. Treeger on Friends, died on March 5. He was 67-years-old. His cause of death is not known at the time of this publication.
