They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this little darling grew up to be?

Star of The Soaps

Now, obviously this dapper mini-gentleman (now all grown up) is currently starring on one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.

So try this on for size. He is a former professional model, a competition winner, a music video performer, and a soap hopper. And, in recognition of his 11 years in “the biz,” we’d like to say we think he’s been doing an abs-solutely fantastic job!

But just who can he be? Is this a photograph of Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer, BB), Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Weston, DAYS), Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase, GH), or Donny Boaz (Chance Chancellor, YR)?

Scott Clifton

Though Clifton is indeed musically inclined – after all, he is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter with two full-length albums in his discography – and although he has indeed hopped the “daytime dial” with roles on GH (ex-Dylan Quartermaine), One Life to Live (ex-Schuyler Joplin) and, of course, B&B, he isn’t today’s featured star.

Robert Scott Wilson

If you hazard a guess that DAYS’ resident serial killer turned heartthrob was the bow-tied cutie, then you’re right on the money! Wilson has not only chilled and thrilled countless viewers since his first appearance as Ben way back in February 2014, but he also holds a special place in the hearts of All My Children fans who watched him play legacy character Peter Cortland during the show’s brief online revival.

Though primarily known for his soap roles, Wilson’s early acting credits include music videos featuring recording artists such as Victoria Jackson, Toni Braxton, and Manika.

He is also a former underwear model and the first-ever male model hired for the mid-morning game show The Price is Right – a position he won thanks to a viewer poll.

Josh Swickard

No, Swickard isn’t our mystery child. This despite his past as a male model who graced the cover of magazines such as Oh LāLā and Q. And though GH is the only serial he’s appeared in, he’s certainly shaping up to be a firm fan favorite.

Donny Boaz

We’d also be remiss if we didn’t give one of YR’s newest recruits a moment in the sun. Like Wilson and Swickard, Boaz worked as a model but it was his posing in an ad for Cavin Klein that cost him a football scholarship at the religious university he attended.

And like the former, he’s a contest winner and soap hopper. Among the many prizes offered to “America’s Sexiest Man” was a multi-episode role on All My Children. And off those appearances, Boaz landed several episodes of Guiding Light.
