Our daily lives can be soap operas sometimes, and “Days of Our Lives”‘ Vivan Jovanni has body art and the story that inspired it to prove that!
The NBC soap ingenue’s character, Ciara, has been involved in some heavy drama lately between losing her father and becoming a victim of rape. In addition, her mother shot “The Phoenix” himself, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). Perhaps that nickname served as part of the inspiration behind Jovanni’s tattoo.
We’re not surprised Jovanni gives her all to her strong performance as Ciara and what she’s been through lately. After all, her own life has seen some upheaval too, which often gives actors the necessary emotional reservoirs to dip into for their craft.
My tattoo is a representation of the bond between my twin brother and me. Two birds intertwine, top bird is a Phoenix (represents my brother), who was reborn after a car accident; he woke up from a coma a different person. Bottom bird is a humming bird (represents me), for the freedom my parents gave me to pursue my dreams.
Let’s not forget the ever-important parental support she mentions in her Instagram post caption. Just as it is for many characters on DAYS, especially Jovanni’s on-screen mother, Hope (Kristian Alfonso), family seems to be a critical part of this young woman’s life. With Aiden back from the dead to reclaim her heart, Hope is going to need some support from Ciara, too!
