Leave the Past Behind
Looking for money to pay for their food, Sami (Alison Sweeney) went through Rafe’s (Galen Gering) wallet. In the process, she found the memorial card for Emily Hudson but remained silent about her find. When Sami tried to bring up Emily gently, Rafe shot her down. He said they both had people in their past. However, if they were to work, they should focus on looking forward.

After Rafe left to get their food, Sami couldn’t stop thinking about finding that card in his wallet. Rafe confided in his sister that he wanted to tell Sami about Emily, but Arianna made him swear not to. Surfing the web, Sami found an article that Emily died the day she was supposed to marry Rafe.

On the Move
Max (Darin Brooks) (who was getting ready to move overseas) let Arianna (Lindsay Hartley) know she was promoted to manager at The Brady Pub. Max also asked Bo (Peter Reckell) for his blessing to be with Chelsea (Rachel Melvin). Bo told him he only needed Chelsea’s blessing and apologized for being unsupportive in the past. Melanie (Molly Burnett) felt like Max was abandoning her, but he promised he wasn’t. Everyone said goodbye, and Max left in a taxi.

Health Scare
Daniel (Shawn Christian) caught Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) when she fainted and saw she had a fever. At the hospital, he ordered tests and let Lexie (Renée Jones) know they may not have time to find out the cause. His emotional response worried Lexie, and she suggested he should let someone else handle her case. Daniel quickly refused.

Kate fumed that things didn’t turn out how she wanted them to and decided she needed to make things worse for Chloe.
