The Secrets Behind Chad And Abby In Paris On Days Of Our Lives

Days Of Our Lives characters Chad and Abby aren’t coming home to Salem until later this year, but you can find out what they’re doing in Paris now via the DAYS App.

“Chad and Abby in Paris” is a story available now on the DOOL App. Billy Flynn and Kate Mansi, are reprising their respective roles of Chad and Abby, in the new digital series.

The story picks up with the couple living in Paris trying to raise their children as Chad attempts to keep outside factors from affecting his relationship with Abby.

“Chad and Abby left Salem so they could have this fresh start,” Mansi tells Soap Hub. “There’s this strong notion that they’re going to have this romanticized life in Paris and they’ll leave their lives [in Salem] behind them for a better life.”

Destiny, of course, has other ideas! “Chad has this company that he’s trying to run from Paris, and he and Abby are still trying to find one another,” Flynn says. “There will still be some drama – it wouldn’t be DAYS without it! What we’re seeing in Paris is a look behind closed doors.”

Viewers will have to tune in to see what conflicts come into the couple’s lives. In addition to Mansi and Flynn, fan-favorite Austin Peck takes part in the digital series, reprising his role of Austin Reed. As fans recall, Abby once had a massive crush on Austin that led to some dramatic heartbreak! Newcomer Rachele Schank debuts as Juliet.

“These episodes are about these four characters and is a little window into their lives,” Flynn teases. “If you’re a fan of Chad and Abby or Austin then these are a must-see. If you’re a fan of the show, it’s also a must-see because you get to visit this alternate world.”

“This [series on the DOOL App] really speaks to Greg Meng’s innovative entrepreneurship,” Mansi says of the show’s co-executive producer, who launched the successful app and has now introduced this new series (written by DAYS head writer Ron Carlivati).

“I thought this was a brilliant idea and I’m excited to help launch this,” Mansi adds. There’s potential for other digital app series featuring existing and new characters to come to fruition, too. “I’m honored to be one of the first ones doing this,” Flynn adds.
