Days of our Lives Spoilers December 16: Will Maggie Take Sides

Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, December 16, sees Xander attempting to recruit an ally for his battle against Philip while Kate worries about their truth coming out.

Younger Than Springtime Are You

Xander (Paul Telfer) believes that his father, Victor (John Aniston), was attempting to make up for never recognizing Xander as his son. At the same time, he was alive by giving him the family business to run.

Xander is right. Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) thinks he should have inherited Titan. Philip is wrong. But that didn’t stop him from forging a codicil to Victor’s will, suggesting he is the true heir.

Philip’s mom, Kate (Lauren Koslow), knows about the fraud, but she’s decided to support her son. Will she lie under oath for him, though? Xander’s lawyer, Justin (Wally Kurth), realizes they can’t ask Victor what he really intended. But maybe his widow, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), could be the next best thing. Will she agree?

What a Mess

Shawn (Brandon Beemer) came back to Salem claiming he was newly sober… and telling his wife, Belle (Martha Madison), that he thought their marriage was over and they should get a divorce, once and for all. He also received a job offer from Jada (Elia Cantu) to come back to the force.

So Shawn has a lot on his plate. And no parents to talk it over with. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) went back to sit by a comatose Bo’s (Peter Reckell) bedside, leaving Shawn rudderless. So he turns to his uncle Roman (Josh Taylor). Roman hardly leaves the pub these days. He basically stands behind the bar and waits for somebody to ask him for advice. “Hey, Shawn, what’s up?”

Sibling Sayings

Belle (Martha Madison) has a favor to ask of Brady (Eric Martsolf). Brady instantly says no. What could possibly be so awful that he won’t even think it over?
