Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) is on the mend. He’s up and walking and can’t wait to see some of his favorite people. First, he visits with his dear grandma Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) before going to see his fellow patient, Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
The men have a lot to talk about. They were both attacked by TR Coates (Christian Williams) and while he’s gone now, the aftermath isn’t anywhere close to over. There is still a lot of work to do.
Eli isn’t the only one to sit by Abe’s bedside. Julie also shows up to see him and offers some goodies from Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and a few words of wisdom. He’s admitted his love for Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) once, it’s time he does it again.
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
