It’s a day of panic for the Bradys and the Johnsons as Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) collapse, and their condition rapidly worsens. The ladies are gravely ill, and Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) races against the clock to save them.
What about Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall)? So far, so good — for now. However, her life isn’t without drama. She worries for her friends and has a heated moment with her husband. Adding to the tension is a confession from Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), which leads to tensions rising in the condo.
As for the person who can fix everything…it looks like Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is ready to give in. She takes Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to the orchid…only there’s no flower to be found. Uh-oh! This can’t be good. Where did it go? Can they figure it out before it’s too late?
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
