Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is a good friend. A very, very good friend. She is there for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) in his times of need and is always ready to give him her sympathy. Are there some mixed signals there? Sure. But, she and Chad know where they stand, right? It seems that’s something Chad still needs to sort out.

Chad talks with Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) about his crush. He’s tried to stuff his feelings down and keep things platonic, but Chad is struggling — especially since it wasn’t so long ago he lost his wife.

As for Stephanie, she has bigger things on her mind than Chad. She has a date with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), and things are going to get scorching hot. He’s one fine man, and she can’t resist.

Meanwhile, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) meets with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), and they look over a blue file. Does this have some intel she needs to plan something big? Something tells us neither of them is going to use this for good. To be fair, when have they ever chosen to be good?

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more. It was developed as a half-hour soap opera for NBC by prolific soap scribe Irna Phillips along with her longtime director, Ted Corday, and Allan Chase. Corday’s son, Ken Corday, continues the family tradition by serving as executive producer.

From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
