Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, January 22, 2020, tease a continuation of the Mother’s Day special. You’ll see Justin receive tragic news, Kristen fight for her baby’s life, and Xander stepping up for Sarah in a way you never saw coming.
Two women are about to have babies but neither birth will go as planned. For Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) that means a terrifying roadside delivery while tragedy strikes all around her. Adrienne (Judi Evans) will suffer gravely and Xander (Paul Telfer) will have to take control of nearly everything.
Sarah will be lucky he’s there. He’ll roll up his sleeves and get ready to get dirty. Xander’s about to be quite the hero when he helps Sarah deliver her baby.
He’ll do his best to save her, save the baby, and keep everyone calm while their world’s turn upside down.
In an unlucky twist, this is the moment that also changes Will’s (Chandler Massey) life. He’ll happen upon the scene and stop to help. However, he’ll be in the wrong place at exactly the wrong moment. He’ll also play hero but quickly said to be the villain in this tale of woe.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) prepares to give birth too. Her bundle of joy is on its way and she can’t wait to hold her tiny babe.

Sadly, the best day of her life will turn into the worst when complications arise. She has to fight for her baby’s life as she struggles through a hard delivery. Kristen summons all her love, strength, and faith and puts it all into saving her bundle of joy.
Later, Justin (Wally Kurth) runs to the hospital after getting a terrifying call. Once there, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is tasked with sitting him down and breaking his heart.
