The DAYS spoilers recap for Monday, June 20, 2022, features a homecoming, a hallucinating heroine, a falling out, and so much more.
It’s a wonder that no crime ever gets solved in Salem, what with guilty parties like Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) shouting what they’ve done at the top of their lungs inside the police station!
Luckily Lani’s got a husband like Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) on her side, a husband who has no problem letting his mother-in-law go to jail for a murder that his wife committed — justified though it may have been.
Unluckily for Lani, the ghost of her abusive dad-cum-victim is on a tear for “justice” — whatever that might look like. Best not to think too much about it. It’s all in Lani’s head anyway.
Thanks to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), a few holes have been plugged. On the night of Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s (Marci Miller) fatal stabbing, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) called her up and inquired about arranging a furlough…on the QT, natch. Ava complied, but now she’s steamed at the prospect of going down as an accessory to murder.
Have no fear, Gwen declares, she didn’t end her miserable sister’s life. Sure, it really looks that way, and yes, Gwen has a habit of lying about, well, everything, but she’s telling the truth about this. Really!
For one brief shining moment, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) was on Cloud Nine…but it turns out that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) haven’t broken up for good. They’re just postponing their wedding so as to not rub their happiness in the Horton/Deveraux family’s faces. Not everyone is as tactful, however.
Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is out on bail — bout time! — and she and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) are wasting no time when it comes to making their coupledom official. They’re getting married tomorrow afternoon!
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) isn’t doing too hot. She’s not exactly thrilled that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) got hitched and hooked up with her poisoner while she was on a forced vacay, and those hallucinations of hers continue to be a big pain for her and the people unfortunate enough to cross her path, right Nicole? Here’s hoping that new medication will nip all that in the bud.
