DAYS Spoilers Recap for June 14, 2022
The DAYS spoilers recap for Tuesday, June 14, 2022, features harsh accusations, heartfelt goodbyes, self-recrimination, and a possible clue.
Not even vivid fantasies of a very much alive Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) could take away Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) blues. In truth, the aggrieved young man was itching for someone to blame, someone to lash out at in the hopes that giving over to his anger would make him feel better.
Enter Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). She was aghast that Chad could think her guilty of murder — clearly forgetting that she’d tried to outright kill, amongst others, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) — and she proclaimed her innocence as well as the innocence of her son. Which is a funny thing because….
Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) day just went from bad to worse. Not only did he have to confront the fact that he’d thrown himself off the sobriety wagon the night before, but he’s got a slashed open palm and Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) just told him that his niece was stabbed to death. Lucas, what did you do during your drunken stupor, and who did you do it to?!
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) swore blind that he didn’t go all Norman Bates on Abigail, and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) promised that she didn’t break out of Statesville and make her way to the DiMera manse. Neither one quite believed the other, but they did decide to let the matter rest…for now.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) spent his birthday saying their final goodbyes to Abigail. Jack’s on-the-spot eulogy was particularly heart-wrenching; a major feat when you consider all the times that he abandoned Abigail when the going got tough.
Is it possible that robbery was the motive for Abigail’s murder? Yes. Is it probable? Probably not. Granted Abigail’s jewelry box was ransacked, but her laptop and many more valuables were left behind, so either the SPDP are dealing with an inept burglar or someone who wanted to stage the scene to look like a thieving gone wrong.
Guess the police could ask Leo, seeing as how he’s the one in possession of the missing baubles and a fat wad of cash!
