The results are in, and Eric (Greg Vaughan) is NOT the father of Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) baby. But wait! Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) recalls submitting her DNA for the test, so the answer is still very much up in the air.
Megan (Miranda Wilson) reveals that Dimitri (Peter Porte) stands to inherit a small fortune IF he’s married before he turns 40. Her efforts to convince Dimitri to wed Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) are for naught…Xander (Paul Telfer) and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) got extremely close for comfort.
Chloe weighs her options and decides to plunge headlong into a romance with Xander — but she’s avoiding the bedroom for the time being…A spiraling Shawn (Brandon Beemer) snaps at Belle (Martha Madison).
Megan thinks she spies a suitable wife for Dimitri in the form of Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien)…Leo (Greg Rikaart) lets his conscience get the better of him…A bailed Talia (Aketra Sevillian) realizes too late that Colin (Jasper Newman) is in her apartment.
Talia Hunter manages to turn the tables on Colin yet again — with quite the assist from an unwitting Chanel (Raven Bowens)…Tripp (Lucas Adams) makes his intentions for Wendy (Victoria Grace) clear…Abe (James Reynolds) begins to question his surroundings…Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) proves to be the balm that Paulina (Jackeé Harry) so desperately needs.
Colin Bedford attempts, unsuccessfully, to offset his predicament by telling a falsehood about Salem’s missing mayor…Talia (Aketra Sevillian) agrees to get to the root cause of her criminality…Rafe unknowingly arrives at Abe’s location…Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Tripp unbecomingly vied for Wendy’s affection.
After waiting out Rafe, Abe finds himself sucked in by past episodes of Body & Soul. A news preemption starring himself startles Abe…Whitley manages to get the Salem Police Department off her trail, Megan lights a fire under Dimitri…Gwen manages to boost Leo’s spirits-ish…Kate (Lauren Koslow) tries and fails to interest Harris (Steve Burton) in a spot of murder-for-hire.
