The Days of our Lives recaps for May 22 – May 26, 2023, featured family reunions, nosedives, a beloved hero in peril, and so much more.
Talia (Aketra Sevillian) and Jada (Elia Cantu) track Colin (Jasper Newman), Paulina (Jackée Harry), and Chanel (Raven Bowens) to the roof of the Salem Inn. A panic attack incapacitates Paulina. Colin readies to shoot Chanel and Talia leaps into the fray. Colin and Talia tumble over the side of the building.
Abe (James Reynolds) suffers a seizure brought on by an intracranial hemorrhage. Emergency surgery is necessitated…Nicole (Arianne Zucker) decides to forgo accepting EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) proposal — for the time being.
Sloan makes it clear that her loyalty lies with Colin, his criminal actions be damned; Eric (Greg Vaughan) is severely put out by this…An unforgiving Chanel insists that Talia be arrested; Jada takes it upon herself to do the deed.
Gabi (Camila Banus) visits Li (Remington Hoffman) and gives him the final kiss-off…Johnny (Carson Boatman) learns that he has competition for Wendy’s heart (Victoria Grace) but still makes a move.
Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) obtains his freedom but at a considerable expense to the good people of Salem, namely the freeing of Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), Megan (Miranda Wilson), and Dimitri (Peter Porte). Andrew’s first stop is Paul’s (Christopher Sean) abode.
Marlena (Deidre Hall) happily visited with Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Roman (Josh Taylor). Later, she’s greeted by a preening Kristen. Kate and Roman are likewise corned by Megan.
Xander (Paul Telfer) offers Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) employment at The Spectator…Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) alerts Shawn (Brandon Beemer) to Megan’s receiving immunity and his plans to return to Salem to keep an eye on the villainess…Megan inquires as to Bo’s condition but is rebuked by Roman and Kate. Afterward, Megan makes her way to the DiMera manse… Dimitri puts his best foot forward with Chad (Billy Flynn)…Kristen threatens to reapply for custody of Rachel (Finley Rose Slater).
Anna (Leann Hunley) goes above and beyond to try and keep Nicole’s confidence, but Tony (Thaao Penghlis) still deduces that Nicole is pregnant. Anna, as a result, informs him that Nicole is unsure who the baby’s father is…EJ vies for Megan’s favor while Gabi and Stefan do the same with Kristen. The sisters are welcomed into the family fold. Megan announces that she’s taking the DiMera name…Sloan offers to help Nicole by acquiring Eric’s DNA but the two are caught conspiring by the man in question.
