The Days of our Lives recaps for November 21 – November 25, 2022, feature explosions, both metaphorical and literal, and so much more.
“Charlie Dale” (Mike Manning) continued to urge Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) to murder Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk). Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) balked when tasked with committing the foul; Ava attempted to incentivize him by revealing his identity to Susan. In the end, Xander releases Susan who makes her way to Ava and EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) rendezvous site. Ava takes Susan hostage and hits the road. With “Charlie” pouring poison into her ear, Ava drives her vehicle off a cliff!
Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) locate and free a trussed-up Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans); she recounts her and Susan’s terrifying ordeal.
Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) called Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) and told him that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) had tracked him down, manipulated him into revealing that Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) had been conditioned into hating Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and were currently anesthetized and restrained; Li orders Rolf to erase the hostages’ memories of recent events. Johnny and Wendy gain the upper hand and make their escape.
Ava’s car bursts into flames. Later, a firefighter comments to EJ that no one could have survived the blast… Gabi impulsively invited Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Stefan to her and Li’s wedding. Chloe is put out when Stefan accepts. Chloe and Stefan clear the air between and lean in for a passionate clinch…which a distraught EJ interrupts… News of Susan and Ava’s deaths begins to discriminate… Xander makes an effort to confess his trespasses to Sarah Horton Cook (Linsey Godfrey) but ultimately keeps quiet.
Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) confides her pregnancy to Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) while Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) does the same to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor)… Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) have an awkward cross. Nicole realizes that she’s left Rafe to prepare and host Thanksgiving dinner all on his own. She insists on making her mother’s pumpkin pie. The two discuss their impending divorce… Nicole overhears Jada announcing to Eric, Roman, and Kate that she’s keeping her baby.
Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry) visited Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and let slip that Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) is the daughter of the woman Chanel killed. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) bring a holiday feast to the police station; Chanel’s mood is boosted.
Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) consoles EJ… Eric convinced Jada not to vacate her room above the Brady Pub… Rafe bins Nicole’s pie, then welcomes Gabi and Li. Gab takes great pleasure in Nicole’s pain… Nicole takes Abe and Paulina into her confidence. Paulina encourages Nicole to fight for Eric… Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) have their second date.
EJ and Rafe conditionally bond… Nicole visits Jada and relays the horrors of motherhood. This prompts Jada to reevaluate her decision not to terminate her pregnancy… Sarah grew suspicious of Xander and asked him outright if he was the one who abducted Susan and Bonnie… Marlena learned of Eric’s impending parenthood and wondered if the disturbance of a gift from Susan was a portent.
