Melissa Salmons, who penned the script, is a former writer for DAYS.
There have been rumors that the flick may appear during Hallmark Channel’s “Fall Harvest” event, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
On January 11, 2008, Staab made her debut on The Young and the Restless as April Stevens, Paul Williams’ former wife and mother of his daughter, Heather Stevens.
Alison Sweeney Talks “Days” Brief Return
After a 21-year run on the soap, Sweeney left the series in October 2014, only to return a year later to have her character mourn the tragic loss of her son.
“It was heartbreaking,” Sweeney said in Too Fab Magazine of her 2015 brief return.
“It was really an emotional roller coaster. I was so happy to be there and see all of my friends and the crew that I’ve worked with since I was 16 years old, but it was all out on the surface playing out Will’s death… that was really hard for me,” she shared.
Sweeney and Staab will begin shooting shortly.
“The Irresistible Blueberry Farm” will debut this fall on The Hallmark Channel.
