For Mother’s Day, we already know how the truly great moms are on Days of our Lives like Alice Horton, Jennifer Horton Deveraux, and Lani Price Grant are merely a few that Salem has to offer.

And the ones who are pretty good… as long as they’re alive… and not possessed by the Devil, like Marlena Evans (Deidre Evans) and Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso). But then there are the less conventional good moms. We asked over 1,000 fans which were their current favorite:

I’ll Do Anything…

It wasn’t even close, as 90% of you voted for Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers). Sure, she periodically forgets she has children. Or gets a surprise one from an egg donation years ago. Or signs up to be a surrogate mother… then refuses to hand the newborn over – that would be Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), by the way. But she would do anything for her children. Even when one of them insists she’s somebody else.

Days of Our Lives: Let Me See You

A much, much smaller 6% of the audience cheered for Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). You are convinced Abby loves her adorable moppets, Thomas and Charlotte… even if we never see that. Or how she interacts with them.

Fun Mom

One of Ava Vitale’s (Tamara Braun) sons was so messed up by her version of mothering that he became a rapist and a killer. Another was given up for adoption but still managed to be a pretty bad dude until he was reformed by the love of his dad and stepmother… that would be Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), by the way. Still, for 2% of viewers, at least Mama Ava is never dull!

Perfect Scheme

It’s been a long time since Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) was a schemer. She’s been more of a victim, recently. But, back in the day, Nancy was happy to scheme to get her daughter, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), whatever she wanted. And 2% of long-time viewers still love her for it!
